GOOD PLANS HAVE BOUNDARIES

Public places. Your boundaries.

Practical safety guidance for TWIIVO outings, participant chats and personal information.

Before you join

Read the venue, time, group type and description. Choose a busy public place, plan your own transport and tell someone you trust where you are going. Phone verification is not a background check or a guarantee about another person.

Keep private details private

Do not post home addresses, identity documents, payment details, passwords or verification codes. Other participants see masked names. Pending applicants do not have access to the outing chat.

During the outing

You can leave a situation that makes you uncomfortable. Do not accept pressure to move to a private venue, send money or share personal information. Arrival is a self-confirmation, not live location tracking.

Block and report

Use participant controls in the outing to block or report inappropriate behaviour. Report specific behaviour without posting accusations or private information in a public description. For immediate danger, contact local emergency services; TWIIVO is not an emergency response service.

Be a considerate organizer

Keep the public location and activity clear. Do not change the plan into something participants did not agree to. Cancel promptly if you cannot host, and communicate with the group.
